Welcome to the Payonify Developer Community Forum. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before registering, browsing, or interacting with this platform.

These terms constitute a legal contract and agreement between you (a sole trader, or company representative of at least 18 years of age) and Payonify (Private) Limited Zimbabwe (hereafter referred to as ‘Payonify’, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’ and ‘Ours’), regarding your use of our internet community forum hosted at community.payonify.com.

By registering an account or browsing this forum, you agree to be bound by these terms, as well as any future modifications implemented from time to time. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using the site and immediately terminate your account.

:warning: Important Provisions

These terms include provisions that affect your legal rights and responsibilities, such as structural disclaimers (Disclaimers), caps on company liability (Limits on Liability), your requirement to indemnify Payonify for damages caused by account misuse (Indemnification), and a binding agreement to resolve all platform disputes through arbitration within Zimbabwe (Disputes).

:white_check_mark: Your Permission to Use the Forum

Subject to these terms, Payonify grants you authorization to access and use our developer forum. Every participant must agree to these terms to view content, post integration inquiries, or interact within the community space.

:clipboard: Conditions for Use of the Forum

Your permission to use the forum is strictly conditional upon the following:

  1. Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years of age or an authorized corporate representative.
  2. Explicit Ban: You may no longer use the forum if our team contacts you directly to explicitly state that your access has been revoked.
  3. Adherence to Standards: You must navigate the platform in absolute compliance with our Acceptable Use Rules and Content Standards.

:no_entry_sign: Acceptable Use Rules

When interacting here, you explicitly agree that you will not:

  1. Break any local or international laws using the forum.
  2. Access or attempt to manipulate another developer’s forum account without their explicit authorization.
  3. Buy, sell, or otherwise trade in community user names or unique profile handles.
  4. Send unsolicited marketing, referral spam, or utilize the forum to crawl personal developer data to build commercial mailing databases.
  5. Automate forum queries or access the ecosystem via specialized scrapers, browser add-ons, or automated web crawlers (except for public search engines indexing the space for visibility).
  6. Falsely imply that your custom software, payment wrapper, or corporate entity is officially endorsed or built by Payonify.
  7. Disable, bypass, or actively probe for vulnerability loopholes within the application security boundaries or access restrictions of the forum.
  8. Strain our platform infrastructure with malicious traffic loops or an unreasonable volume of server requests.
  9. Impersonate Payonify staff, engineering team members, or other network merchants.

:pencil: Content Standards

  1. You may not submit content to the forum that is illegal, offensive, harassing, abusive, or explicitly harmful to others.
  2. You may not publish confidential API payloads, production keys, raw database dumps containing private client info, or material that infringes upon anyone’s intellectual property rights.
  3. You may not upload or distribute files containing malicious code, tracking scripts, viruses, or spyware.
  4. You may not squat on particular topic names, category positions, or user tags as an empty placeholder.

:shield: Enforcement & Legal Compliance

Payonify reserves the right to investigate and legally prosecute violations of these terms to the maximum extent permitted by law. We will actively cooperate with local law enforcement and regulatory bodies in executing actions against fraudulent profiles or illegal activity.

We retain absolute rights to change, redact, or delete community threads and posts for any operational reason. If you encounter a post violating these terms, please contact us immediately.

:key: Your Account & Security

To unlock technical posting categories, API feedback tags, and messaging capabilities, you must create an account. You agree to provide an accurate, complete email address and keep it updated. You can close your community account at any time by emailing team@payonify.com.

You are solely responsible for all actions taken under your account credentials. You must choose a robust password and keep your login access strictly confidential. Payonify implements reasonable technical measures to secure our network infrastructure, but we are not liable for external account compromises due to client-side credential disclosure. Inform the @team immediately if you suspect an account compromise.

:floppy_disk: Your Content & Licensing

Nothing in these terms strips away your intellectual property rights over files, code segments, or commentary you post to the forum—they remain your asset. Likewise, nothing here grants you ownership over Payonify’s brand marks, core gateway designs, or documentation components.

By submitting posts to the forum, you grant Payonify a non-exclusive, global, royalty-free license to host, replicate, cache, index, and analyze your public content to provide services to other users. This license ceases once your data is completely purged from our active systems, caches, and backup storage loops.

:handshake: Indemnification & Responsibility

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Payonify (Pvt) Limited and its corporate affiliates from legal claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses raised by third parties arising from your direct breach of these community terms, or actions executed by others utilizing your account. Payonify agrees to provide prompt notification of any such claim and will manage the core legal defense paths where necessary.

:construction: Disclaimers

You accept all underlying operational risk related to your use of this forum and any code snippets found within it. To the maximum extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, Payonify and its technical infrastructure suppliers provide this platform “as is”, without warranties of any kind, explicit or implied.

This forum incorporates integration discussions, external links, and community plugins managed by third parties (such as WooCommerce, Shopify, or custom library frameworks). Payonify makes no guarantees regarding the uptime, safety, or accuracy of those external tools.

:chart: Limits on Liability

Neither Payonify nor its infrastructure partners will be held liable to you for indirect, incidental, or consequential contract damages, including loss of revenue, business interruption, or failed transactions resulting from technical errors, downtime, or platform adjustments.

:bulb: Feedback & Suggestions

We highly welcome developer feedback regarding our API wrappers and platform layouts. You agree that Payonify is entirely free to act upon, implement, or distribute ideas you share inside our feedback channels without requiring any royalty payments, non-disclosure restrictions, or attribution constraints.

:hourglass_flowing_sand: Account Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your authorization to utilize the platform’s advanced user features ceases immediately.

Please note that in accordance with our primary corporate onboarding guidelines, all community profiles will be automatically suspended after 1 year of continuous inactivity. Furthermore, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or block forum access if we suspect fraudulent behavior, platform abuse, or upon receipt of a regulatory directive from bodies like the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ), the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), or a court order. Following termination, your transaction-linked integration logs will be securely retained in accordance with statutory regulatory record-keeping frameworks.

:balance_scale: Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

The laws of Zimbabwe exclusively govern these terms and any disputes arising between you and Payonify regarding this community forum.

Any dispute, conflict, or claim related to these terms that cannot be resolved through amicable corporate dialog shall be referred to and definitively resolved via binding arbitration in Harare, Zimbabwe, conducted in accordance with standard domestic arbitration procedures. You agree to settle any claims strictly on an individual basis, and not as part of any class action or consolidated representative proceeding.

Payonify reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revise, amend, add, or delete portions of these community terms at any time. We will publish notifications of structural alterations on our primary homepage or broadcast notices directly to your registered account.

Your continued utilization of the community platform after changes are posted constitutes your explicit agreement to follow the updated terms.
